As MrBacklog wrote in the other thread, transcribing every task that stems from your emails onto the catch-all list, harbours the danger of too much admin overhead.

The problem is IMHO even worse, because, if you dismiss such an email task on your catch-all list, you have to also unflag the corresponding email.

This problem gets somewhat amplified, if you have more than one such place from where you transcribe tasks onto the catch-all list. (Like for example a folder of PDFs you may want to read.)
