Seth Roberts, a psychologist and author of the Shangri-La Diet book, has the following post on his blog related to studies on journal writing and its benefits:

Seth’s blog » Blog Archive » The Writing Cure
http://www.blog.sethroberts.net/2006/10/11/the-writing-cure/

For more about Seth Roberts, I first heard about him on the Marginal Revolution blog (ostensibly a libertarian economists' blog, but they cover the gamut):
Marginal Revolution: Seth Roberts is Utterly Mad (but in a good way)
http://www.marginalrevolution.com/marginalrevolution/2005/04/seth_roberts_is.html

Marginal Revolution: The Shangri-La Diet
http://www.marginalrevolution.com/marginalrevolution/2006/04/the_shangrila_d.html

What intrigues me about Roberts is what intrigues me about Mark's methods: self-experimentation and a willingness to share their research.

Thanks, Mike. I've subscribed to Seth's blog on the strength of that. In my Bloglines folder it goes right under Seth Godin's.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the health benefits of blogging!
