1. i get confused between external goals and stuff I want to have versus how I want to live, behave to others, and care about myself

2. my goal is too big - i haven't re-framed it as small steps; i focus on the result not the next step

3. i haven't embraced and made room for the parts of me that feel discomfort about it

4. i allow more negative thoughts to influence my actions rather than creating a positive story about my goal
