Discussion Forum > Contrarian

What a great topic! I really got to thinking about it and realized that I do a number of things contrary to popular teaching. For example, I do change my approach often, but there is good reason for it. It's the most effective way to motivate myself. I was like a kid at Christmas with DIT and AF1. I got a LOT more done.

I wrote more about my thoughts here: http://www.psychowith6.com/opposite-advice-getting-done/

What other contrarian approaches do you use?

Nicely written and provocative (in a positive sense) post, Melanie. I have no response to compare to that.

Hi Learning - I totally agree with your assessment of what Mark has brought to us via this forum, books, etc.

May I also say what a total inspiration you yourself are - the fact that you take the time and trouble to share your thoughts and experiences with us, in spite of the challenges you face on a daily basis, is awe-inspiring.

It's good to see the forum so active again - very interesting threads recently.

Best wishes to all.

Thanks, Alan. I always find your insights helpful. And I completely agree with those of you who are commenting on Learning's posts. I often ask myself what she would do, because it's usually the most sensible thing!

Meant to catch this before it went over the page, but I'm too late!

I'm closing this thread now to keep it a manageable size. As always, you are welcome to continue the discussion on a new thread.
