Zeigarnik is a psychological principle that says we tend to remember uncompleted tasks better than completed ones. Writing tasks down helps your brain offload them, but because they remain uncompleted, your brain keeps a mental tag on them, which can increase the drive to finish them.When you write something down, do it, and check it off, your brain gets a dopamine reward. This reinforces the behavior and builds a habit loop.
