Final Version FAQs > Projects and Commitments > Apart from FV, what systems do most people need to stay in control? How does FV relate to these systems?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

Different types of work require different systems, so it’s impossible to give a general answer to this. However it is very important to pay attention to your systems because these can make or break a business. If you are starting a new business it’s important to set your systems up properly before they are needed.

A sign of systems malfunction is when you find yourself using the words always or never, as in “I always forget to summarize the invoices” or “They never remember to bring fresh milk in the morning”. Don’t just work around the problem - if you do it will still be there in ten years’ time. Work out why it’s going wrong and change the system so it doesn’t go wrong any longer.
